In 2006, Liaoning Hongda Group invested and participated in 6 mining companies under Liaoning Lianshan Molybdenum Group Co., Ltd., including Yuanbaoshan, Zhenxing, Magou, Lanjiagou, Shanglan, and Fulan, and directly operated and managed four mining companies which are Yuanbaoshan, Zhenxing, Magou and Lanjiagou. The seven mining companies are all located in Gangtun Town, Lianshan District, Huludao City, Liaoning Province where is the third largest molybdenum production base in China, with a mining area of 300,000 square kilometers, 15 million tons of molybdenum ore reserves, and 630,000 tons of metal. The annual processing capacity is 2.5 million tons of ore, the output value is 800 million Yuan, the tax revenue is 200 million Yuan, and more than 20,000 people are employed. The experience of integrated mine development is promoted by the state throughout the country.
