On the morning of May 26, 2023 local time, more than 200 people from 137 local representatives in Uganda (includes RDC President represents, LC5 Regional Chairman, CAO Chief Executive, Government Spokesperson) visited Wagagai Gold Mine. Project General Manager Mr. Liu Hui, Deputy General Manager Mr. Jiang Genshui, and assistant Mr. Wang Guochao led relevant personnel gave a warm reception.

During the period, the delegation visited the gold mine along the East Ramp - Main Shaft Area Ⅱ - Auxiliary Shaft Area III - Tailings Pond - West Ramp, and observed the accurate operation of the hoist, the winch and the orderly construction of various vehicles and machinery. Mr. Liu Hui provided a detailed introduction to the mining equipment and technological process such as exploration, mining, beneficiation, and metallurgy along the route. Mr. Liu Hui stated that while developing and constructing, Wagagai Company will vigorously protect the local ecological environment, achieve sustainable development of the mining area and intensive land use, and strive to benefit the local people.

The delegation was shocked and impressed by the construction of such a large-scale gold mine, advanced equipment and technology, and said that their departments will strongly support the development and construction of Wagagai Company, and they believe that the development of the company will be better and better.

It is reported that the Wagagai gold mine project has been rated as an industry model by Ugandan authorities in terms of investment scale, engineering quality, construction speed, future planning and social responsibility for local labor and employment since it was developed by Hongda Group. Personnel from various industries often visit Wagagai gold mine to learn and inspect.
