On July 12, 2023, from 15:00 to 19:00 Beijing time, Liaoning Hongda Enterprise Group held a video conference on the second quarter work report. The conference has a total of 10 venues for domestic and foreign companies and project locations, with over 200 middle-level and above leaders attending. Group Chairman attended the meeting in Lubumbashi DRC, Group General Manager attended the meeting in Busia Uganda, and project leaders, engineers, and office personnel attended the meeting via mobile phones. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Zhou Jidong, Executive Vice General Manager of the group, and consisted of three topics: work report, comment and deployment, and leadership speech.
Thirteen leaders, including Vice General Managers of the Group, Project Managers, and General Managers of the subsidiary, respectively reported in detail to the Group Chairman and General Manager on the completion status of the work in the second quarter, the reasons for non completion, the work plan and measures for the third quarter. The report found the shortcomings, sorted out the problems, saw the gaps, clarified the focus, strengthened the overall planning, and laid the foundation for the completion of the annual targets.
General Manager Mr. Tan made comments on the work of each company (department) in the second quarter one by one according to the daily situation and the report content of the participants, and deployed the key work in the third quarter and put forward specific requirements. In order to ensure the completion of the targets, Mr. Tan proposed to strengthen the fine management: First, the "five meetings and five reports" are required to achieve four aims, that is, be real, be transparent, be efficient, and be resultful. Second, to implement "six-level management", that is: 1. Front-line workers, directly working; 2. Team leaders, leading the team to work; 3. Workshop managers, arranging the work; 4. Factory directors or company leaders, completing the tasks assigned by superiors; 5. Project leaders, taking full responsibility for the project and take measures to ensure the completion of annual tasks; 6. Chairman, General Manager and group leaders, responsible for the overall management of various companies and projects of the Group.
In order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the Group, Mr. Tan especially emphasized the work of strict economy and safety work, and asked everyone to conscientiously focus on repairing and recycling, saving expenses, controlling costs, assigning personnel and positions, streamlining integration, and managing safety production in the third quarter.
Subsequently, the Chairman said that everyone attended the meeting and took the notes carefully, hoping everyone to continue working hard and continuously contribute to the Group.
Finally, the Executive Vice General Manager Mr. Zhou, called on the participants to accelerate production, overcome difficulties and rush the construction period, create benefits, strictly manage to ensure safety, and unite their efforts. Hongda people should strive to demonstrate their abilities and levels, implement node plans well, complete each task well, implement the instructions of the Chairman and General Manager well, and contribute wisdom and strength to the successful completion of the annual targets.
