On January 26, 2024, Hongda Group held the 2023 Annual Summary and Commendation Conference in a simple and grand manner through video conference. This meeting has set up the main venue in Huludao, with 10 sub venues including Heilongjiang Lujiu Company, Lvming Company, Uganda Wagagai Mining, Uganda Business Division, Mali Bamako, Urunia, Diba, Congo (DRC) Kolwezi, Beijing Xinhong, and Tianjin Logistic Company, with eight topics and a total of more than 400 participants. Among them, the Group Chairman took his seat at the project sub venue, while the Group General Manager, Mr. Zhou, Mr. Liu, Ms. Zhang, Ms. Dong and other senior executives of the group took their seats at the main venue. Li Xin presided over the meeting.

At 3:00 PM Beijing time, the conference began with the heroic singing of "The Song of Hongda" by all participants. First of all, a video of 2023 work documentary titled "Overcoming Difficulties, Striving Ahead" was played, which reviewed the main work, important activities, and achievements of each subsidiary and department in the past year. All participants agrees that every achievement is the condensation of sweat; Every honor is the reward for hard work; Every happiness is the result of struggle. Looking back on the past, we are proud of our efforts, and looking forward to the future, we are forging ahead because of our dreams!

Subsequently, 16 group leaders, subsidiary general managers, and project (department) heads, including Zhou Jidong, Liu Lixin, Zhang Xuefei, Dong Shuang, Zhang Guowu, Yin Jiachuan, Li Xin, Li Hao, Liu Wei, Li Jie, Niu Tiejun, Lin Dong, Liu Hui, Gong Yongji, Chen Yanchun, and Zhang Xikai, took the stage and reported on their performance and completion of work for the year 2023 and the work plan for year 2024 to the Group Chairman and General Manager through video conference.

During half-time break, each venue arranged their own meals.

After half-time break, Group Deputy General Manager Mr. Zhou and Vice General Manager Ms. Dong respectively read out the "Report on the Completion of 2023 Task Indicators of the Group Company" and the "Advanced Commendation Report of the Group for 2023". According to the work performance and personal performance, after research and decision by the group leadership, Lujiu Company, Lvming Company, and Wagagai Company, won the "Task Award".

The Supply Chain Center was given the "Best Team Award"; the Human Resources, Legal Affairs and Third Industry Department were given the "Dedicated Team Award"; the Financial Center was given the "Professional Team Award"; the Real Estate Company was given the "Fighting Team Award"; the General Office was given the "Service Team Award", and Wagagai Company were given the "Excellent Project Award". 

The leaders of each venue presented certificates, medals, and bonuses to the award-winning individuals and teams respectively. Dr. Liu Deng delivered an award speech on behalf of the winners. The host Li Xin calls on all employees to learn from the advanced, emulate the typical, work hard, strive for excellence, and strive to catch up and surpass in the new year, making new and greater contributions to the development of the group! Subsequently, Group Vice General Manager Liu Lixin, Zhang Xuefei, and African business & trade Vice General Manager Li Hao respectively announced the 2024 task indicators for six companies and two departments of Lujiu Compnay, Huzhong Company, Real Estate Company, Wagagai Company, Mali Project, DR Congo Project, Lvming Company, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.

Before the end of the meeting, the leaders of the group gave instructions. The general manager congratulates the award-winning individuals and teams, and evaluates all the reporting personnel one by one in the order of appearance, and put forward four requirements for resolutely completing the task indicators in 2024. At 15:00 the next day, General Manager Mr. Tan had a small-scale dinner with the company leaders, heads of government departments, winners and preparatory personnel of the annual meeting in the real estate staff canteen. During this dinner, Mr. Tan delivered a brief and powerful speech. He pointed out that 2023 is a year of large-scale investment and large-span investment by the group, spending more but earning less, resulting in a certain deficit. However, the overall strength of the group is sufficient to support our current construction needs in Africa. Although his speech at the annual meeting yesterday was relatively unconfident because of the arrears of part of the salary, he couldn't help but feel more confident when he saw that everyone here was full of enthusiasm and the future of the group was full of brightness.
