On the morning of October 30^th, 2023 local time, Don Williams Nabaasa, Major General and Commander of the Third Battlefield Command in Eastern Uganda, Mbarai-Maj Guard-Nionzima OIC, Maj Dickson Kyenze Mawia (Kenyan liaison officer), Maj Abdullah Rari Kalicha (Kenyan liaison officer)Lt Alfred Aliga (ADC-3Div commander), a team of five people visited and inspected the Wagagai gold mine. Group General Manager Tan Jiuchang, Deputy General manager of the Commerce Department Li Hao, Deputy General Manager of the project Jiang Genshui, Human Resources Manager Wang Guochao, and others warmly received.

First of all, the guests watched the group's promotional video and the gold mine overview film in the VIP room. General Manager Mr. Tan introduced the current construction status and overall plan, particularly providing a detailed explanation on the border issues that Kenyan military representatives are concerned about. According to the drawing, the project of our company is completely located in Uganda, and there is no cross-border problem.

Subsequently, the guests, accompanied by General Manager Mr. Tan, made on-the-spot investigation to the surrounding boundary of the project - East Ramp Area and other places. The guests sincerely praised the global leadership in gold mine infrastructure construction, equipment selection, and technology adoption, and expressed strong support for the group's commitment to creating a model project for mining in the six East African countries, improving Uganda's backward mining level, and driving local employment and economic development.

After the visit, both parties had lunch together, and the abundant Chinese cuisine was praised by the guests. During the post dinner meeting, the division chief expressed his joy at seeing the scale of Wagagai Mining so huge, and clearly pointed out that there were no border issues. He would provide more soldiers with good quality to defend and actively coordinate with relevant departments to provide strong assistance!
