On September 15, 2021 local time, Mr. Tan Jiuchang, general manager of the group, visited the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of Uganda, and focused on having talks and exchanges with Ms. Hon Anite Evelyn, Minister of State for Investment of Uganda. Lawyer Derrick, foreign affairs manager and translator Chen Yingying, and secretary Ou Tianying accompanied the visit.

During the period, Mr. Tan briefly introduced the general situation of Hongda Group and its subsidiary Uganda Wagagai Mining (U) Limited to Minister Anite, and played the group's mining propaganda video, focusing on the employment of local employees, current investment and construction, and future development planning of Wagagai Mining company, as well as the tax and economic benefits that will be created for Uganda. Mr. Tan pointed out that the equipment and technology used in the Busia Gold Mine invested by the Group's Wagagai Mining company are the most advanced in the world, and top talents in the industry will be used to promote the construction.

Minister Anite asked questions about the group's mining distribution, the progress of the Busia project, the final product of the gold mine, etc. Mr. Tan replied one by one, and introduced the construction of the Namanve Group's office building. Minister Anite expressed her appreciation after hearing this, and expressed her gratitude to the Group for its large-scale investment in Uganda and a series of benefits it has brought to the local area.

Mr. Tan sincerely invited Minister Anite to lead her departments to participate in the foundation laying ceremony of the Busia Gold Mine on October 5. Ms. Anite happily accepted and proposed to visit the project before the foundation laying ceremony of the gold mine. Mr. Tan expressed his thanks and welcome.
