On the afternoon of August 8, 2022, local time, Dr. Fredrick Kabagambe Kalisa, senior presidential adviser of Uganda, together with government officials of the region of Busia, went to Wagagai Mining for inspection and guidance. Mr. Tan Jiuchang, general manager of the Group, and relevant leaders and principals warmly received them.

During the meeting, Mr. Tan introduced the general situation of the Group and the construction of the Busia Gold Mine to the guests, focusing on the development planning, enterprise vision, scale and strength of the Gold Mine, and the economic benefits brought to Uganda after the project is completed. He also scientifically demonstrated the advantages of the Group company in bidding for the development of the Kilembe Copper Mine project in Uganda.

Mr. Tan stressed that all investment and development projects of the Group in Uganda will put the national interests of Uganda first, followed by the interests of local employees, and finally the investment interests of the Group itself. The group will adhere to the enterprise tenet of "Making Resources Better Serve the Society" and strive to make strong contributions to Uganda's economy, employment creation and people's livelihood improvement.

During the visit, General Manager Mr. Tan led the guests to visit the Busia Gold Mine along the route of drilling machine platform, core warehouse, laboratory, storage equipment warehouse, main shaft and ramp. The guests highly appreciated the current construction achievements of the Gold Mine.

It is known that Dr. Kalisa has been engaged in the mineral industry for more than 40 years and is an expert in the fields of oil, natural gas and mining. During his visit, he conducted a comprehensive investigation and guidance on the Busia Gold Mine project and put forward professional suggestions and guidelines. Dr. Kalisa said he was very optimistic about the development prospects of Wagagai Mining, and will definitely recommend the Wagagai project to the President to provide assistance for the Group to bid for the Kilembe Copper Mine project.
